Challenges

Solution
J&J Services regraded the existing stone lane to restore proper drainage and crown, adding crushed limestone where the base had thinned. The new parking area was constructed with a compacted limestone surface — practical and consistent with the farm property aesthetic — with natural fieldstone border markers rather than manufactured edging. The landscape design incorporated native and traditional kitchen garden plantings, native field flower mixes along the lane edges, and a simple orchard grass lawn mix rather than the fine turf blend that would have looked out of character on a historic farm property.
